First Aid Training

This was a comprehensive course offered by the National Ski Patrol. Students received instruction over a twelve hour period that used teams to plan instruction, practice sessions and review of material under the guidance of staff members and a licensed instructor. Upon successful completion of the course, a certificate was awarded for “Outdoor First Care.” A first aid "refresher" was offered to groups that had first aid experience and did not wish to be certified. Well-trained First Aid Teams played a large role in the watershed activities. All students learned the importance of prevention, taught by Mother Nature and reinforced by a caring staff!
